It was supposed to be a relaxing vacation on the Caribbean Sea, but things got out of hand when four friends decided to spice up their cruise with some rum and pirate costumes. They had no idea how much they drank, or what they did, until they woke up the next morning in a lifeboat with a parrot, a hook, a treasure map and a lot of angry messages on their phones.
Apparently, they had raided the ship's bar, stole some props from the entertainment crew, and declared themselves the new captains of the vessel. They had also challenged some other passengers to a sword fight, thrown some coconuts overboard, and sung some very inappropriate sea shanties. They had even tried to board another cruise ship that was passing by, but were repelled by a blast of water from a fire hose.
Now they were stranded in the middle of the ocean, with no food, water or sunscreen. They had no clue where they were, or how to get back. They only had each other, and their pirate fantasies, to keep them company. They wondered if they would ever see land again, or if they would end up as shark bait. They also wondered if they would ever be able to laugh about this, or if they would be sued for damages and banned from cruising for life.

They screamed in terror as they saw the monstrous eyes and teeth of a kraken staring at them. They grabbed whatever they could find to fight back: the hook, the parrot, the map. But it was no use. The kraken was too strong and hungry. It crushed their boat and dragged them into the depths, never to be seen again.

They saw a boat approaching them. It was the coast guard, who had been alerted by the cruise ship about their disappearance. They waved their arms and shouted for help.
They were rescued and taken to the island, where they received medical attention and fresh clothes. They also received an apology from the cruise company, who offered them a full refund and a free trip to any destination of their choice. They accepted the offer and decided to go to Hawaii next time.
They learned their lesson and vowed never to drink rum or dress like pirates again. They also decided to keep the parrot as a souvenir and a reminder of their crazy adventure.
